MADRID -- A Madrid man is jailed after deputies said he rammed another person's car with his vehicle during a domestic violence incident on Saturday.

Leslie J. George Jr., 43, of 2340 State Rte. 310 is charged with two counts of second-degree criminal mischief and single counts of first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense, all felonies. He is also charged with misdemeanor counts of second-degree menacing and second-degree reckless endangerment, as well as second-degree harassment, a violation, deputies said.

Deputies and state troopers responded around 7 a.m. to the scene of the incident at George's residence where they say he rammed another person's vehicle with his own.

He was arraigned in Madrid Town Court by Justice Elizabeth Sharpe and remanded to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, in lieu of $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond, police said.
