MADRID — A Madrid man faces multiple weapons possession charges stemming from a child abuse complaint on Sunday, according to state police.
Leslie J. George, 40, was charged at 9:16 p.m. with five counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, troopers said.
George is allegedly a convicted felon and is not allowed to have weapons.
While investigating a domestic dispute on Troopers found George in possession of five long guns, both rifles and shotguns.
George was arraigned in the Town of Norfolk Court by Town Judge George Grubee who said he would be available for an arraignment at 10:30 p.m.
