Lots to learn and enjoy at SUNY Potsdam classes for adults and kids

POTSDAM – SUNY Potsdam’s Office of Non-Credit Programs will offer dozens courses for adults and children this spring.

New courses include Healthy Transitions: Making a Difference in Your Life, Spanish for Beginners, DIY Wedding Planning, Nurturing Relationships that Matter, Extreme Self Care, How to be an Effective Caregiver, and Men's Leadership.

Returning personal and professional enrichment courses include Notary Public Seminar, Beginning Piano for Adults, Financial Workshop: Your Source for Financial Education, Watercolor for Adults, and Wine Appreciation.

In addition, there are many opportunities to get in shape with adult fitness courses, including a brand-new Muscle Inferno class.

Popular returning sessions will include Ballroom Dancing 101, Learn to Salsa Dance, Adult Irish Step Dancing, Recreational Ballet, Deep Water Jogging, Adaptive Water Exercise, Aquatic Fitness, Yoga & Pilates, Hatha Yoga, The Perfect Blend: Yoga, Martial Arts and Qigong, Power Yoga with Weights, TABATA Espresso Blend and Decaf, Zumba, Indoor Cycling, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi Chuan and Noontime Fitness classes.

There are also many classes for children and teens; including programs in swimming, softball, tae kwon do, ballet, gymnastics, lacrosse and Irish step dancing for children of all ages.

Additionally, there are new opportunities for enrichment for children and teens, with sessions such as the popular Princess Party, Story Time Art, and Grandparents Day, as well as returning classes in Children's Watercolor and Family Music.
