LISBON – It’s official.
David Forsythe, Republican candidate for Assembly in the 118th District, has filed his petitions to officially appear on the ballot this November.
Forsythe filed the petitions last week at the New York State Board of Elections in Albany.
He filed more than four times the required amount of signatures needed to appear on the Republican line.
"I am humbled by the overwhelming support that my campaign has received. I look forward to entering the next stage of my campaign and taking my message to the people," Forsythe said.
Forsythe, a small business owner and St. Lawrence County Legislator, is a lifelong resident of the North Country. He resides in Lisbon with his wife of 23 years, Paula. They have three children and a grandson.
