Bob Kosman gives a $500 check for this year’s Ride for the Residents to Jane Rector of United Helpers.
LISBON -- Bob Kosman, owner of Kosman Auctions in Lisbon, recently donated $500 to the upcoming Ride for the Residents.
He gave in honor of his daughter, Dorlinda, who died in 2002.
The “Dorlinda Fund” is sponsored by the Kosman’s business and their patrons and supports a number of organizations around the community.
This year’s Ride for the Residents, a motorcycle poker run that helps purchase quality of life improvements for United Helpers residents, has a new itinerary that will have riders travel from Ogdensburg to Alexandria Bay, through Gouverneur, and up to Heuvelton.
The ride will stop at North Star Restaurant in Alexandria Bay, Mullin’s Family Restaurant in Gouverneur, and Satch’s in Russell before a barbeque dinner at the Heuvelton Fire Department catered by Parker Piercey.
