LISBON – A Lisbon man has been charged with five misdemeanors after allegedly letting beef cattle roam free for several weeks.
Christopher J. Scott, 47, 9190 St. Hwy. 37, Ogdensburg, was charged June 6 by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies with second-degree criminal nuisance, second-degree reckless endangerment, reckless endangerment of property, unlawfully permitting an animal to roam, and 13 counts of failing to provide sustenance, one for each head of cattle.
The animals allegedly were roaming the area of County Rt. 27 in the Town of Lisbon.
Scott was released on appearance tickets ordering his appearance in Lisbon Town Court at a later date.
