LISBON -- A Lisbon man is jailed on a felony charge for allegedly beating a senior citizen.
Victor L. LaFlair, 32, is charged with second-degree assault, according to the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said LaFlair punched and kicked someone over age 65 on Sunday, causing physical injury.
The difference between the alleged perpetrator’s and victim’s ages elevated the charge to a felony, deputies said.
LaFlair was arraigned in Canton Town Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton, in lieu of $200 bail.
