“In the Night Sky: The Astrological Zodiac for Children” written and illustrated by New Age Children’s Author, Courtney Scriminger, under the pen name Rayne Storm.

CANTON— A Canton resident and Lisbon Central School graduate, who writes under the pen name Rayne Storm, has released her third publication.

“In the Night Sky: The Astrological Zodiac for Children” explores the basic fundamentals of the Zodiac with children and helps them understand all that the night sky has to offer, a release from author Courtney Scriminger says.

Through fun trivia, puzzles, prose, and challenges, the workbook provides hours of educational play that can be revisited over and over, the release says.

Children will be helped to make sense of the influences that surround everyone.

For each of the 12 Astrological Zodiacs there are corresponding aspects in different areas like: their element, planetary ruler, color, stone, and motto. Even the placement of each Zodiac has significance, as it was once used as an Astrological calendar. In the Night Sky focuses on learning to recognize the constellations and their aspects, hearing more about their stories, and finding how they came to be and the lessons that they teach.

Scriminger will host a “Meet n’ Greet” book release and signing, May 3r, 2014 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brewer Bookstore (St. Lawrence University) in Canton.
