CANTON -- A level-3 sex offender wasn't living at the Potsdam address he had given authorities, and has been charged with a felony for not reporting his new address.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies say James R. Clark, 42, had not told authorities within 10 days that he had moved from 521 River Rd., Potsdam, as required by law for sex offenders.
Clark was arraigned Monday in Town of Canton Court with failure to register as a sex offender, a Class E felony. He is being held without bail to appear in Town of Potsdam Court on Thursday.
