Motorists in Parishville, Heuvelton, Fine and Lawrence were charged with drunk driving Saturday following separate accidents, according to state police.
Just nine hours after being stopped for speeding in Potsdam, Kara L. Page, 24, Hannawa Falls, was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-car property damage accident on the Pumpkin Hill Road in Parishville Thursday.
State police responded to the crash at about 10:50 p.m. Police said her blood alcohol level was 0.17 percent, more than twice the .08 percent threshold for DWI. She was also cited for aggravated unlicensed operation third degree and is to face the charges in Town of Parishville Court Jan. 3.
Earlier in the day, Page had been charged with speeding at 1:53 p.m. on Main Street in Potsdam after village police said they observed her traveling 45 miles per hour in a 30 mph zone.
Elsewhere, Lori A. Montroy, 52, Heuvelton, was charged with driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana at 8:30 p.m. on County Route 17 in DePeyster after state police responded to a report of a property damage accident.
John P. Laurin, 31, Albany, was cited for DWI at 4:39 a.m. at 13 Finley Rd. in Fine after troopers responded to a report of a property damage accident, police said.
Meanwhile, Christopher J. LaRock, 27, Moirah, was also charged with DWI in connection with a one-vehicle accident on County Route 52 in the Town of Lawrence on Sept. 22. His blood alcohol reading was 0.11 percent, police said.
He was also charged with various vehicle and traffic law charges and is to reappear in the Town of Lawrence Court on Jan. 17, police said.
