POTSDAM -- Horsefeathers Haunts says they will cancel the events they had set for this coming weekend due to predicted bad weather.
They had cancelled last weekend's haunts for the same reason, hoping that they could run scheduled events Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27, 28 and 29.
The announcement they issued Wednesday afternoon said, "Increased chance of rain and snow for both Friday and Saturday, has caused Horsefeathers to make the difficult decision to cancel their Haunted attraction for the season. Since the Haunt is entirely outside, continuous rain and snow will cause hazardous conditions for our visitors, vendors, and employees. The issue of safety is taken very seriously by Horsefeathers and it is with this concern that the decision was made to close."
