The National Weather Service is warning that the higher elevations in the Adirondack portion of southeast St. Lawrence County is under a frost or freezing warning on Saturday night.
"A Freeze Warning is issued when freezing temperatures are forecasted to threaten outdoor plants. Those with agricultural interests in the warned area are advised to harvest or protect tender vegetation. Also, potted plants normally left outdoors should be covered or brought indoors," NWS said.
Saturday temperatures are forecast to hit a high of 58 degrees and get down to around 39 degrees in most places, and just above freezing in the higher elevations.
Sunday is forecast to be mostly sunny and around 60 degrees with evening temperatures getting down to around 40.
Monday is predicted to be similar, a couple degree warmer during the day and a few degrees warmer at night.
Tuesday and Wednesday bring up to 70 percent chances of rain, with tempertures respectively around 66 and 70, and around 59 Tuesday night, meteorologists said.

Saturday - Sunny, with a high near 58. North wind 6 to 10 mph.
Saturday night - Mostly clear, with a low around 39. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph after midnight.
Sunday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 62. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 7 mph in the morning.
Sunday night - Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. East wind around 9 mph.
Monday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 63. East wind 6 to 8 mph.
Monday night - Mostly clear, with a low around 49. Southeast wind 7 to 10 mph.
Tuesday - Showers likely, mainly after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. South wind 11 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Tuesday night - Showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 59. South wind 13 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Wednesday - Showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 70. West wind 8 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
Wednesday night - A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50. West wind 3 to 5 mph.
Thursday - Mostly sunny, with a high near 66. Light and variable wind.
