HEUVELTON -- The Heuvelton Teacher’s Association (HTA) recently designated their March donation of $150 to the Heuvelton Volunteer Fire Department, in appreciation of all their time and dedication to the community.
Every fall, during Fire Safety Week, volunteers from the fire department provide students in grades K-3 with an educational fire safety program. Although the cost of the program well-exceeds the donation, firefighter Nick Friot commented that this gift will be put toward next school year’s program.
