CANTON -- Two Heuvelton residents have been charged with possession of two pounds of marijuana.
Canton police report that Christopher L. Trombley, 25, and Amy L. Pike, 24, both of 35 Old State Road, Heuvelton, were charged Tuesday with a felony count of criminal possession of marijuana, were arraigned in Canton Village Court, and sent to the county jail in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond for bail.
The pair was arrested on Riverside Drive in Canton.
The St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, with members of the county sheriff's office and the Canton, Ogdensburg and Potsdam police departments, investigated.
Police say the investigation is continuing and more charges and arrests are pending.
