David I. Mitchell II, 41, of 186 Mitchell Rd., was arrested by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday after they received a complaint of the alleged attempt on Mitchell Road Tuesday.
The victim had a stay-away protection order issued by a court in February, according to deputies.
Mitchell was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a Class E felony, and second-degree menacing, a Class A misdemeanor.
Mitchell was arraigned in Macomb Town Court and was ordered held on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
