CANTON – After a complaint to authorities that a man was driving erratically, a Hermon man was charged this afternoon with driving while his blood alcohol content was at .24 percent.
A driver can be charged with driving while intoxicated if blood alcohol content stands at .08 percent or higher.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Bernard J. Woytus, Jr., 47, 265 Northwoods Rd., at 2 p.m. today along State Rt. 68 and charged him with DWI.
He was issued tickets calling for his appearance in Canton Town Court at a later date.
