POTSDAM -- The Health Initiative has a new coordinator for their Diabetes Prevention Program.
Julie Cooke, who has worked at the Health Initiative for five years, was promoted to the position and will take over for Linda Caamano.
Caamano accepted a job at Hospice as their new volunteer manager. She left July 12.
Cooke is a master trainer in self-management programs and a trained lifestyle coach for the program.
“She will transition into this new position easily,” a release from Health Initiative said. “We wish Linda all the best as she moves on to new ventures, and welcome Julie in her new position.”
