HANNAWA FALLS -- Hanawa Falls firefighters kept damage to a garage to a minimum early today.
The department was called out at 12:35 a.m. Saturday, to a fire in a garage at 5158 Rt. 56, property owned by Phil Collins, Jr.
The cause of the fire is still being looked into, investigators said.
Colton Rescue was on the scene. Mutual aid was provided by volunteers from Colton, Potsdam and Pierrepont.
The Hannawa department was back in service at 2:27 a.m.
