HAMMOND – A Hammond man has been charged with head-butting his girlfriend and endangering her children.
County deputies arrested Ryann A. Wilson, 26, of 3 Shady Lawn Dr., Wednesday, charging him with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child, both Class A misdemeanors.
The St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office says that Wilson pushed his 21-yer-old girlfriend onto a couch and head-butted her in the face injuring her lip, nose and left eye.
Hammond Rescue took the woman to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg for treatment.
Wilson was arraigned in Hammond Town Court and released pending a later court appearance.
The court issued an order of protection against Wilson for the woman and her two children.
