POTSDAM -- The Northern New York Community Foundation's 'Grasseroots Fund' granted the Potsdam Public Museum $2,769 for the purchase of ultraviolet window shades for the museum's main exhibition space to protect the collection from the harmful effects of light on furniture, fabric, books, documents, paintings and photographs.
The museums spring hours staring in February are: Tuesday - Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Current exhibitions include: The History of the Clarkson Family and St. Lawrence Academy to SUNY Potsdam: 200 Years of Education.
