GOUVERNEUR -- Jackson G. O’Riley, 25, Gouverneur, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday and charged with second-degree assault following an investigation of a domestic dispute that was reported on Jan. 10.
“The defendant did intentionally cause serious physical injury to the victim when he punched the victim in her right eye with a closed fist for which the victim sought medical treatment for broken facial bones,” the police blotter report said.
O’Riley Defendant was arrested and transported to the Gouverneur Village Police Department where he was arraigned before Judge Travis Dann in Gouverneur Town Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility on $5,000 bail/$10,000 bond.
