GOUVERNEUR -- A Gouverneur man is accused of stealing $3,000 in equipment and metal items from a barn and garage.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff's deputies Thursday charged Nathaniel P. Travis, 21, of 15 Depot St., third-degree grand larceny and third degree burglary, both class D felonies.
Deputies allege Travis stole a stainless steel tub, 20 metal cattle stalls, a water heater, a sand blaster, assorted milking equipment, and several other metal items from a barn and garage on May 9.
The property, valued at over $3,000, has been recovered and returned.
Travis was arraigned in Town of Gouverneur Court and released to the supervision of probation authorities.
He is due back in court June 9.
