GOUVERNEUR -- A Gouverneur man is accused of raping a 14-year-old girl.
New York State Police in Gouverneur arrested Jonathan Graybill, 22, of Gouverneur, Tuesday afternoon, charging him with two counts of second-degree rape, two counts of second-degree criminal sexual act, all felonies, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
The arrest stems from an investigation in which Graybill was accused of having sexual intercourse and oral sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old female on two separate occasions in August and September in the town of Gouverneur.
Graybill was arraigned in the town of Gouverneur Court and remanded to St. Lawrence County Jail in lieu of $2500 cash or $5000 bond.
