Gouverneur man accused of holding wife, one-year-old captive, fighting with wife

GOUVERNEUR – St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested William J. Moss, 24, 37 Mill St., after he allegedly held his wife and one-year-old daughter captive and had a physical altercation with his wife in front of the child at 1:05 p.m. Sunday.

Moss was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.

Williams was arraigned in Gouverneur Town Court by Judge Youngs and then turned over to the Military Police as an active duty military member.
