New York's junior U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand appeared on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart Tuesday night, where she thanked Stewart for his efforts to raise awareness and help pass the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act.
Before the show, Sen. Gillibrand presented Stewart with an American flag that flew over the U.S. Capitol on December 22, 2010, the day the 9/11 health bill passed, and a jacket from the FealGood Foundation, a leading advocacy group for 9/11 first responders.
A video clip of her appearance is on Stewart's website.
