Gasoline price lower this Thanksgiving, now at $3.20-$3.40 per gallon in St. Lawrence County
Prices people will pay for gasoline in St. Lawrence County are lower than they were at this time last year.
Gasoline prices are 44¢ lower around the U.S. than they were at this time last year, according to GasBuddy.com.
In Ogdensburg, regular gas Monday was $3.26 per gallon of regular at Nice N Easy, $3.27 at Stewart's, Sunoco and Valero.
MASSENA -- In Massena, regular gas was $3.24 at Valero, $3.25 at Mobil, $3.27 at Stewart’s and $3.29 at Sunoco. Most Hogansburg stations had regular gas at $3.15 per gallon.
Other gas stations in the county were at or near those prices, according to GasBuddy.com.
We’re still paying more here than most others in the state and around the nation.
The price in Syracuse was pegged at $3.03.
The state average price stood at $3.19 per gallon.
The U.S. average price was $2.80 per gallon for regular gasoline, GasBuddy.com said.
