A winter weather advisory remains in effect this morning in St. Lawrence County due to ice which is causing hazardous driving conditions, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Light freezing rain this morning will eventually turn into rain as temperatures rise this morning, according to forecasters.
Rain could get heavy at times with a high near 47, NWS says.
Rain and snow showers are likely tonight with a low around 16, the service says. New snow accumulation of 1-2 inches is possible.
The forecast for Wednesday calls for a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly before 11 a.m., the service says. The high will be around 19 with a half inch of snow possible.
