FOWLER -- State Police today charged a 48-year-old Fowler man with the rape of a 15-year-old female, along with numerous other counts.
Mark A. Hartle had been in a sexual relationship with the female between July and November 2014, with incidents occurring in the Towns of Fowler and Rossie, according to troopers.
Hartle was charged with four counts of third-degree rape, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of third-degree criminal sex act, one count of forcible touching and one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
He was arraigned in Town of Fowler Court and remanded without bail to the St. Lawrence County Jail.
Prior to his arrest, Hartle was under the supervision of New York State parole authorities, state police said.
