DEKALB JUNCTION – The St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force made a fourth arrest Wednesday afternoon involving marijuana sale and possession in DeKalb Junction.

Investigators arrested Timothy A. Thomson, 53, at his 125 Old State Rd. residence and charged him with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a class D felony.

He was arraigned in front of Judge Putney and released to the supervision of probation.

On Nov. 29, task force members initiated an investigation into the sale of marijuana involving multiple targets. Task force detectives were successful in breaching a targeted group, using an undercover officer to buy a half-pound of marijuana from them.

Officers then converged upon 125 Old State Rd., DeKalb Junction, where multiple people were confronted and detained.

Further investigation led to the issuance of a search warrant for the home and property at 125 Old State Rd. There, the task force reports it found two pounds of marijuana with a street value of $4,500.

Initially Tuesday, Timothy A. Thompson, II, 28, of the Old State Road address, John-Charles M. Anson, 20, 85 Bristol Rd., Gouverneur, and Brandon W. Monroe, 31, 580 County Rt. 18, Richville, were charged with Class D felony, second-degree criminal possession of marijuana.

They were arraigned in Hermon Town Court before Justice Lamson and released to the supervision of county probation authorities.
