Four hurt in Hermon accident; no one hurt in Hammond and Brasher mishaps

Four people were reported hurt in a two-vehicle accident on Cty. Rt. 19 near Cty. Rt. 20 in Hermon Thursday afternoon. State police report that the drivers of the two vehicles were Francis E. Anson, 48, Hermon, and Christine M. Doughty, 25, Elgin, S.C. The accident was called into state police at 4:20 p.m.

State police investigated two property-damage accidents Thursday.

Penni L. Youngs, 34, of Hammond, reportedly had an accident with a parked vehicle Thursday shortly before 5 p.m. State police said the accident occurred on St. Lawrence Avenue in Hammond. Troopers are continuing their investigation.

And Lisa M. Evans, 41, Winthrop, was in an accident with her vehicle on Cty. Rt. 53 in Brasher shortly after 9 p.m. Thursday.
