POTSDAM -- Village police have charged a former Canton-Potsdam Hospital worker with sexually abusing a chemical dependency patient.
Russell L. Matoes, 33, of Canton is charged with third-degree criminal sexual act, felony, police said.
In February, while working in the CPH Chemical Dependency Rehabilitation Unit, he allegedly sexually abused a patient there, police said.
He was arraigned in Potsdam Town Court and released under probationary supervision, police said.
