Flood warning remains through Thursday afternoon in St. Lawrence County, but no more rain or snow predicted until end of week

No more rain or snow is forecast before Friday night in St. Lawrence County, which could be a relief to people affected by flood waters, but the National Weather Service is maintaining a flood warning for the county through Thursday afternoon at 2:45 p.m.

Meanwhile temperatures have dropped to unseasonable levels, and it will be clear and cold tonight, with lows in the upper teens.

Skies will remain mostly clear tomorrow with high temperatures in the low 50s, according to the NWS.

Thursday night, clouds are expected to increase as the temperature drops to about the freezing mark.

On Friday, mostly sunny skies are predicted as highs approach 60 degrees before showers are start late Friday night, continuing into Saturday, the weather service predicts.

• Thursday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 32. Southeast wind 3 to 7 mph.

• Friday Mostly sunny, with a high near 59. Southeast wind 6 to 11 mph.

• Friday Night Showers likely, mainly after 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 39. Southwest wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

• Saturday Showers likely, mainly before 9am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. West wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
