OGDENSBURG -- The first episode of “Zburg,” a web series created by actor Mark Valley and filmmaker Ethan Henry can now be screened online.
The film features local music and actors and is posted on YouTube.com.
The story unfolds in a northern border town with the first episode focusing on a young man.
“A scrappy kid from a struggling town witnesses a fateful meeting,” the episode synopsis said. “And sidelined detective Harry Mallette investigates the shooting of a meth dealer in the border city of Zburg.”
“Zburg EP 101 is on the St. Lawrence Film Festival site as an official selection contender. I’ve been supporting and following Adam Paul’s efforts to establish a film festival in the North Country, where he has gradually been building a focus for really great film makers in Canton, New York. We are honored to have ZBURG EP 101 posted with this caliber of short films,” and update on Zburgny.com says.
“Although we will launch our show in its entirety in early September. I thought this would be a great opportunity to partner with an important voice in the community and show our first episode in conjunction with The St. Lawrence International Film Festival.”
