MASSENA — A fire at the St. Regis Nursing Home, 89 Grove St., on Tuesday was contained to one wall of a room, according to the Massena Permanent Firefighters Local 2220 Facebook page.
The call came in around 2:45 a.m. alerting firefighters of a blaze on the second flood of a resident’s room.
One person was reportedly taken to a local hospital by Massena Rescue for evaluation for smoke inhalation.
Massena police also were on scene.
