St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office reports the seizure of 116 pounds of high-grade marijuana from a Watertown man last Thursday.
Deputies said that they, working with U.S. Border patrol. detained Cory D. Laplant, 32, after his vehicle was stopped along Rt. 11 in the town of Gouverneur.
During the stop, the pot was found. It was described as high-grade hydroponic marijuana. Federal officers seized the weed.
Laplant faces federal charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
