Republican incumbent Janet Duprey has successfully fought off a challenge from Conservative Karen Bisso for the 115th state Assembly seat.
With all districts in St. Lawrence and Clinton counties reporting, and 61 percent in Franklin County, Duprey, a Peru resident, received 14,160 votes, compared to 7,802 for Bisso, a Conservative from Morrisonville.
The district includes Brasher, Hopkinton, Lawrence and Piercefield, along with Franklin and Clinton counties.
