POTSDAM – Basketball Coach Tim McKenzie’s Dual Athletics is now operating in Potsdam to work with developing college NCAA, high school, and youth players.
While coaching and studying at Lu Dong University last year, McKenzie founded Dual Athletics in Yantai, China as he worked with China Basketball Association players with intense training for the NBA draft.
Since then he has been hired by multiple youth basketball organizations to host basketball clinics across Asia and America.
“Now I’m In Potsdam training all ages, from youth to NCAA players,” McKenzie said.
He was a 6-4 senior swingman at Central Islip High School on Long Island and was a two-time All State player. He played college ball at Lincoln University in Lincoln, Pa., but injuries sidelined him.
“I still have a passion for the game,” he said.
He will be happy to set up court sessions at Potsdam-area gyms.
He can be reached at (516) 567-2314. There is more information at https://dualathletics.weebly.com/, and photos and videos on instagram@DualAthletics.
