POTSDAM — The seventh annual Dr. Jim's Chemistry Magic Show to Benefit the Potsdam Holiday Fund was a tremendous success, said organizers in a press release.
The annual show, put on by Clarkson University Prof. Jim Peploski, the Clarkson Department of Chemistry & Biomolecular Science, and Clarkson's Office of Student Life & Engagement, brings magic to life for the community using scientific experiments and principals.
Many area families attended the show this year, said organizers.
Those attending donated $500 and many gifts for children and families in need who will receive help from the Potsdam Holiday Fund.
Donated gifts can still be sent to the Potsdam Holiday Fund to PO Box 827, Potsdam 13676.
