LAWRENCE — A Bangor man was jailed Monday morning following an alleged domestic violence incident on Water Street in front of a 2-year old child, according to state police.
Harold H. Nason, 26, was charged with third-degree assault, fourth-degree criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child, troopers said.
These charges stem from an altercation with the victim in the presence of their 2-year old child, police said.
Nason was arraigned in Stockholm court where he was released after posting $500 cash bail, officers said. He is to reappear in the Town of Lawrence Court at a later date.
An order of protection has been issued in favor of the victim, police said.
The incident was reported to state police around 10:50 a.m.
