OGDENSBURG -- St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Detectives and Drug Task Force Members charged Dwain A. Mashaw, 38, 728 Franklin Street Apt. 2, with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, third-degree unlawful manufacturing of, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, according to the sheriff’s office.
“Detectives made entry to the apartment and ended the situation without incident. Upon subsequent investigation into the domestic incident, detectives located numerous items used to manufacture methamphetamine. Additionally detectives located a hypodermic instrument containing a substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
Mashaw was arraigned in Canton Town Court and ordered held in lieu of $1,000 bailwith orders to reappear in Canton Town court at a later date.
St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force members were assisted by the Ogdensburg Police Department and members of the New York State Police.
