CANTON -- St. Lawrence County sheriff deputies say a Canton man has been charged with animal cruelty for abusing a dog.
Daniel J. Dubois, 26, of Jameson Road is charged with one count of animal cruelty, a misdemeanor, police said.
On Sunday, he allegedly “kicked his dog several times making it yelp,” deputies said.
He was charged the same day and released with an appearance ticket for Canton Town Court, deputies said.
