Anthony L. LaRose, 29, was charged by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday.
It is alleged LaRose had six prescription Neurontin capsules while in the jail. The drug is ordinarily prescribed for epilepsy and nerve pain.
He was arraigned before Canton Village Justice Gregory Storie and held without bail pending further court action.
