STOCKHOLM – A Stockholm man is facing two felony charges after a search of his property by the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force uncovered $20,000 worth of pot, cash, a grow room and plants in various stages of processing Thursday.
Bryan H. Jenack, 48, 2899 County Rt. 49, Stockholm, was charged with first-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a class C felony, third-degree criminal sale off marijuana, a class E felony, and unlawful growing of marijuana, a violation.
Investigators executed a search warrant on Jenack's property, where they found and seized 10 pounds of pot with a $20,000 street value. They also found $6,700 in cash and a hidden marijuana grow room in a shed on the property where processed marijuana along with plants being dried were recovered.
Jenack was arraigned in Stockholm Town Court before Justice Wayne Williams and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility on $15,000 cash or $30,000 bond.
He is scheduled to return to court Jan. 4 at 10 a.m.
Assisting with the investigation were members of the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office, Canton Village Police, Potsdam Village Police, Gouverneur Village Police, SUNY Potsdam Police and state police.
