MASSENA -- Tedra Cobb, 21st Congressional District Democratic candidate, will be at the Massena American Legion Tuesday, March 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. to meet with supporters and gather signatures to secure her place on the June 26 primary ballot.
“We have been working hard to build relationships across the district, talking about the issues that matter to constituents of NY-21,” Cobb said, who has lived in the district for more than 30 years and has worked in local, regional, and statewide government, healthcare, education, and community service. “We have received tremendous enthusiasm and support and are pleased that the St. Lawrence Country Democratic Committee is carrying my petitions for the primary ballot.”
Over more than three decades, Tedra has demonstrated that she represents the values and ideals of her northern New York neighbors and will fight for their interests at the federal level. A strong contender to defeat Elise Stefanik (R), she is the best chance among challengers to help reclaim the House of Representatives for Democrats.
The public is welcome to this event. The American Legion Post 79 is located at 40 East Orvis St. Only registered Democrats residing in NY-21 can sign Tedra’s petition, and voters can only sign for one candidate.
Voter registration forms will be available for those not currently registered to vote.
