PARISHVILLE – A Colton man who was hurt in an accident early last Friday has been charged with driving while intoxicated after his vehicle went off the White Hill Road in Parishville and hit several trees.
Joseph P. Robar, 27, Tucker Road, Colton, had to be extricated from his 2002 Chevrolet Blazer by Parishville Fire and Rescue and taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital for treatment of head and leg injuries after the accident, which occurred at about 3:30 a.m.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies said he was charged with DWI, failure to reduce speed on a curve, failure to keep right and uninsured motor vehicle.
Robar is to appear in Parishville Town Court to answer the charges.
