PIERREPONT — A Colton man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a rollover accident Sept. 23 on State Highway 56, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Nicholas S. Miller, 28, was charged with first-offense DWI, speed not reasonable and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, deputies said.
Miller was reportedly transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital by Colton Rescue for injuries sustained during the accident.
A blood test is pending to determine his blood-alcohol content, deputies said.
The accident was reported around 7:30 p.m.
Deputies were also assisted on scene by members of the Hannawa Falls and Pierrepont fire departments.
Miller was cited and released.
