HANNAWA FALLS – A Colton man was charged with a felony county of assault after striking a person with his vehicle while engaged in an argument Saturday night, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Corey R. Hamilton, 18, was charged with second-degree assault, third-degree assault and second-degree reckless endangerment, officers said.
The incident reportedly took place at 5984 State Highway 56.
Officers did not say if the victim was injured during the incident.
Hamilton was arraigned in Potsdam court and released under the supervision of probation and it scheduled to appear in Pierrepont Town Court at a later date, deputies said.
