There is a chance of snow and rain showers today across St. Lawrence County with a high near 40, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Temps will remain below normal through the weekend as a warming trend begins on Sunday, forecasters say.
Coming out of the weekend the North Country should see near normal to slightly above normal temperatures along with dry conditions and plentiful sunshine, NWS says.

Mostly sunny, with a high near 47. West wind 5 to 9 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 28. West wind around 5 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.
Sunday
Sunny, with a high near 54. Light and variable wind becoming northwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning.

Mostly clear, with a low around 31. West wind around 5 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.
Monday
Sunny, with a high near 61. Southwest wind 3 to 6 mph.
