Susan J. Cole, 31, is charged with first-offense DWI and operating a motor vehicle with blood alcohol level above .08 percent.
Police said they investigated after finding her vehicle on the railroad tracks just off the Pine Street crossing around 11:24 p.m.
Her blood alcohol level was .16 percent, police said.
She was released with an appearance ticket for Potsdam Town Court on June 1 at noon, police said.
