WATERTOWN -- Canton jam band The Waydown Wailers are playing in Watertown June 9, opening for popular touring Canadian band The Trews.
The performance is at The Ballroom at Savory Downtown, 300 Washington St.
The Trews' monthlong U.S. tour began June 4 in Pittsburgh and ends June 28 in Toledo, with stops in New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Chicago and Detroit.
The Wailers' latest release is “The Story of Tomorrow,” a compilation album from Woodstock Records. It features 11 songs by different artists, including three “radio edit” tunes from the Canton-based band.
Members include brothers Dave and Christian Parker with Michael “Scruffy” Scriminger on drums and Connor Pelkey on bass.
